One great place to snag online deals are daily deal websites. Unfortunately, there are a LOT of Daily Deal websites, but not many of them are local. I have listed all of the daily deal websites that I have found here, along with a short review.
What is a daily deal website?
A daily deal website is a website that offers a "One-A-Day" discounted deal. You can often score magazine subscriptions to 75-90% off retail cost, vouchers for activities to do with your families, DVD rentals, gift cards, and much more!
How do I use these vouchers?
Typically, the daily deal site will offer you a single-use code to use on the website when you check out to get your discount. (For example, there was a very popular deal a couple months ago, where you buy a $20 Amazon gift card for $10- after the deal ended you got a coupon code to enter gift card onto Amazon website) In the case of most magazines, after you purchase the deal there is nothing else left to do!
The Daily Deals!
Mamapedia - This website offers a daily "Sweet deals" for kids and families! The closest "site" is Philadelphia, so I follow that one. Earn $10 for every referral that buys a deal from your link! Also offers coupons very frequently... The one down side is that you cannot use a credit and a coupon in same transaction. Overall, I have used this site 4-5 times and always gotten a great deal!
Groupon - This website offers deals that are appropriate for all-ages. The closest site is in Harrisburg and/or Baltimore. Earn a $10 referral for every person who signs up through your link after they buy their first deal!
Living Social - This website offers a "family edition" in select regions as well as regular daily deals. There closest deal site is Philadelphia and Baltimore, and there are Family Editions in both of those regions as well. When you join this website, you automatically get $5 deal bucks to spend on a deal! In addition, after you buy a deal, share the deal on your facebook or tweet, if three of your friends buy the deal - your deal is free!! This website is very easy to use, navigate, and the check out process is a breeze. Living Social always has a variety of great deals! They also have a unique section of their website called Living Social Escapes where they post deals on travel packages. Check it out! :)
Plum District - This deal website is geared towards mom & kids. Refer a friend and get $10 to use on the website. In addition, if you send your friends a referral email, they will get a $5 coupon code to use towards first purchase.
Eversave - This website is yadadyada yada. Refer a friend and get $10 in Save Rewards to use on a purchase! This website has Harrisburg, Philadelphia, and Baltimore locations. Right now, you can save $3 on any deal using code TAXDAY and when you share a deal you will get $2 for your next purchase!
Rue La La - This is what I refer to as a "boutique" daily deal website. This website is geared towards women & families, however, the items they offer are significantly more expensive than the sites listed above for most deals. This website is unique in that it offers five different daily boutiques where you can purchase different items. Earn $10 when you invite friends!
Baby Steals - Offers a SINGLE twice daily deal (at 9am & 9pm). Items are typically 50% or more off retail price or more and are sold at a limited quantity.
Kid Steals - offers a daily deal (9 am MST).Items are typically 50% or more off retail price or more and are sold at a limited quantity.
